Even I might be confused by that title, but I wonder if others have felt the way I do. What is this word, tank top? Who wears a tank top? Apparently, nice girls and boys do. It seems that wifebeater is not very PC, but it is what I wear. My wife dislikes this term and does not appreciate my daily use of it (and truthfully that is part of the reason I like to say it), but if you look at Wikipedia, you will see that it is listed as a sleeveless shirt or vest, also known as a tank top or yankton (what the hell is a yankton?).

Basically I am saying that homonyms (or words that share the same spelling and the same pronunciation but have different meanings) are interesting creatures. BUT no one gets “up in arms” about the words quack, punt, or rank.
